Day 7 – Tanzania

Nearly one third of Tanzanians are Christian. The celebration is less about presents and more about family gatherings as people return home to the villages to spend time with family. Many decorations made from recycled materials like recycled bottles are brought out a few days before the 25th. Children are often gifted new clothes as toys are not a big deal, and many families sing songs in Swahili to celebrate.
