Today I experience the Chobe National Park, one of the top destinations in Africa with the largest concentrations of wildlife in the continent spreading over 12 000 square kilometers. Located in the northern part of Botswana, Chobe National Park is famed for its elephants, its diverse habitats. Its varied array of animals and birds and its beautiful river, which allows for amazing game viewing by boat. There are varying numbers regarding the number of elephants one can see in the park; however, on a very good day, one can easily spot between 50 000- 120 000 in an afternoon, or even see more than 5000 by the riverbank.
Today I go on a game drive. Chobe National park is home to the largest concentration of elephants, the Park is one of the world’s leading wildlife destinations.
In the evening I experience a Chobe River sunset cruise! The famous Chobe River, which forms the park’s northern boundary, provides a permanent source of water for the region’s high volume of wildlife, making the river an important focal point for safari enthusiasts.
