Belgian fries are not French!

Today I visit the old historical city center in Antwerp! Walking around I stop by the highest gothic cathedral of the entire BeNeLux (Belgium – Netherlands – Luxembourg). There is a beautiful statue that you can see in the square in front of it too, called Nello & Patrasche.  I walk past the beautiful city hall, the famous Butchers Hall museum (and the amazing building), and the secret alley Vlaeykensgang, a  street from the 16th century. I also pass by Het Steen, the oldest building in Antwerp. The first stones date from the 11th century and its magnificent location next to the river is also an amazing place to go and enjoy some famous Belgian fries!
